Shaykh Shihaab-ud-Deen said: Obligatory prayers represent capitaland Nafl prayers indicate something additional to that. They are indicative of an increase in good things because they are profit; they are indicative of calamities being warded off and needs being met. If the Nafl prayers are complete and the dreamer has a child and dreams that he is offering a Nafl prayer, he will be blessed with another child,otherwise he will be blessed with twins, because Allah says:
“And We bestowed upon him Ishaaq (Isaac), and, as an additional gift [Naflatan] (a grandson)Ya‘qoob (Jacob). Each one We made righteous.
One of them said: Sunnah prayers are indicative of the purity of the one who offers them and his patience at times of hardship; they are also indicative of praise and treating dependents and thoseunderone’s authority kindly. Voluntary prayers are indicative of kindness and spelling of worries.All of this applies if the prayers are completed.
